http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13578 Fix for JSP disclosure bug for all 4.0-4.0.5, 4.1-4.1.11 releases [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|INVALID | ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-10-13 20:12 ------- This was a funny remark. Millions of people running Versions of Tomcat that are not 4.0.5, or 4.1.12, have to come with their own solutions to a bug in the server. I took me 5 hours to figure out solution B, and another 1 hour for solution A. Do you suggest that everybody goes thru the same process, or that there is a patch offered that everybody can use? P.S. There are some dependencies that don't allow people to upgrade their server overnight. All these people need a patch like this. Rejecting it means poor customer service at the least. Lucky Java hackers, they can still look around for struggling servers... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
