http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12447 PUT command returns 405 if Servlet has not been initialized Summary: PUT command returns 405 if Servlet has not been initialized Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.0.4 Final Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT/2K Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Servlet & JSP API AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Apparently, Servlets must be initialized to load at startup or by one of the other HTTP methods. My servlet implements both doPut() and doGet(). If I use GET, it initializes and then PUTs are accepted. If I use PUT, the servlet will continue to return 405 until GET is used once. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
