The java code will work with any mod_jk, so it doesn't matter too much, is just the configuration of apache that will be different. I already started with the web.xml -> workers2.properties generators, and I hope jk2 config will be much more automated and simpler. But for now - don't hold 4.1.x releases on mod_jk2.
