http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=7272 SSI Include munges scandinavian characters. Summary: SSI Include munges scandinavian characters. Product: Tomcat 4 Version: 4.0.3 Final Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Servlets:SSI AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For some reason, servlets-ssi.jar munges scandinavian characters when ssi include directive is used. We complained about this issue last fall, and got it fixed. In fact, I still have the JAR from 20011113 nightly build, which works just fine. I can not see difference in actual source returned by these two JARs, something fishy with the response headers? It seems to me that something leads Netscape/IE to choose a wrong font to display the page - if you forcibly set character set, Netscape swithes font displays fine (until you reload the page). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
