Sounds like a better and safer idea :-) The problem is that I would like to make some changes to some utils, like remove the util.Log deps, do some improvements ( a much cleaner Notes for example ), etc. I don't want to destabilize the current code - but to gradually start using the new stuff when ready. So keeping the current 'frozen' version ( and keeping it in sync with 3.3 - which is also frozen as API, but does get fixes too ) is the perfect for me.
