Hi, I am using Tomcat 4.0 beta 3 and I have a little problem with the option <load-on-startup/> in my web.xml. If I use this option I have to put the jar files that are in my WEB-INF/lib directory into the classpath of Tomcat otherwise the load-on-startup fails. If I don't use this option then the servlets are started up the first time requested and my jar files in the WEB-INF/lib directory are found okay. Is this behaviour normal? Thanks, Julian Payne ILOG.
