Now that is coming from the guy who previously flamed me to hell on this
list. :-) I love it.


The problem with JSP, as I see it, is that for every positive, there are
also as many (or more) negatives. Stuff like:

Pro: It can be parsed by an XML parser.
Con: But it is to verbose to write yourself.

(Craig's answer to that one yesterday at ApacheCon was something like "learn
how to type faster or buy an expensive piece of commercial software to make
it easier". I though that was funny. <smile>)

Even the examples that Craig gave yesterday showing the difference between
JSP and Velocity were amazing. I couldn't understand why anyone would want
to write JSP after seeing the Velocity example first. It was about ten times
more work and confusion to use JSP IMHO.
