I happened to be in the same situation with Amy - my account was created
without "frequent or valuable" contribution from my part.
It is very hard to get involved in such a project, with all the flames,
so many smart people around who will read your mails in all possible ways,
all kind of conflicting requirements. Not to mention the peer review.
I could say a lot about this - but the short answer is that I'll vote
+1
and I would love to see more people working for other companies in jobs
involving tomcat and willing to become commiters, and this vote will make
it easier for them to do so.
