Hi,
There seems to be a problem with the zip file for Tomcat 3.2.1 available at
the jakarta.apache.org. It doesn't contain the file xml.jar because of
which an exception is thrown and the server doesn't start. I tried putting
the 3.1 xml.jar file in the lib directory but still some exception was
being thrown. Can somebody please help in this regard.
Also, the website says that thread pooling can be used with ver3.1 and 3.2.
However, the tomcat.properties file for both these versions disables thread
pooling by default and recommends against deploying the same for production
use. Please clarify whether thread pooling should be used or not.
