Synopsis: 
upgraded b7-->b8, Tomcat hags. Conditions hard to identify

Description:
We run Tomcat 3.2 betta 7 with Cocoon and a little bit
complex application (our own processor, etc). After upgrading from b7 to b8 saw that 
quite often our
Tomcat started hanging. When this happens if one tries
to access Tomcat from browser (on Tomcat's httpd port
directly or via ajp12 connection to apache httpd), it keeps
waiting and waiting and waiting.. When we kill tomcat
processes the browser immediatly shows a "page cannot be
displayed message". We've turned on all the debug we could
and found nothing special in logs.. the last messages in
the log were getRealPath() (this was normal Cocoon 
functionality) ... reverted to b7 and this stopped
