I am unable to integrate Apache with Tomcat on sun os 5.7

Description:
Hi there..
In the user guide of tomcat, it was given that we have to create the mod_jesrv.so 
inorder to integrate Apache with Tomcat.
I tried to create the mod_jserv.so by using apxs tool on sun solaris.
But it was giving some errors.
How to solve this problem?
