We've found a bug in the 3.1 nsapi_redirector that must have been fixed
in the 3.2b. With the 3.1 redirector's, whenever I send a post with a
binary file, the redirector seems to close the connection prematurely.
This bug doesn't appear when I compile the redirector from the 3.2
source for unix. I haven't been able to build this for Windows. The
one in the 3.2 binary directory is the same size as the 3.1 so I'm
doubting that it has been compiled since then. The bug appears with the
binaries available via 3.1 and 3.2b6.

I've built the nsapi_redirector.so (and mod_jserv) successfully for all
of our unix platforms (Linux, Solaris, HPUX, AIX, IRIX) but am having
difficulties with Windows. This is the first time I have ever even seen
Visual C++ so wouldn't doubt that it's user error.

Following the instruction from the Tomcat-Netscape howto running:

MSDEV nsapi.dsp /MAKE ALL

Returns:

This makefile was not generated by Developer Studio.
Error: no project loaded.

Loading that file up with the gui gives a similar error. I've tried
with Windows 2000/Visual C++ 6.0 and NT 4.0/Visual C++ 97 with the same
result. I don't have a clue how to create my own project/makefile in
this environment.

Has anyone been able to compile this and point me the way or has a 3.2
nsapi_redirector.dll that they've built and are willing to share?

Thanks for any help you can throw my way...

-Jason

P.S. Would anyone find it useful if I made the unix mod_jserv.so and
nsapi_redirector.so I've built for the above unices available on a web
site?
