Hello Jakarta-ers
Thanks to some sharp thinking by Ignacio Ortega, I have converted the
horrible sql BugRat originally used for searching with some better
code.
Suffice it to say, the original query would return in about 25
minutes. Ortega's code with the same data would returns in about 10
seconds. So what's that, an improvement of 150x?
Hopefully with this kind of person on our side, Tomcat will eventually
serve pages in the user's past.
