Description:
as far as I understand, tomcat.sh env is ment to be run like

#!/bin/sh
. tomcat.sh env
===
but one ocasanally might run 
. tomcat.sh in his current shell in order to get
the CLASSPATH set by tomcat.sh
and if he occasinally doesn't have $TOMCAT_HOME set
his current shell exits
