Well,

I haven't had the time to explore the MX issue, however as a quick workaround, would redirecting traffic on network level be of help?
something like:

# iptables -t nat -A OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 25 -d *MX1 *-j DNAT --to-destination *MX2*

Maciej

Dear All,

A second domain has started to reject mails from my server. I hope this is not
becoming a threat. Please advice any workarounds. My servers keeps retrying
their primary MX and then says connection died. Panic mode ! Pls help !

rfc2821 patch is available but reading earlier posts by bill
he says that it may break TLS.

Well, I think I've seen a patch for qmail to try
other
MXs upon temporary errors.
What does google say?
