Many months ago I have tested Fedora Directory Server as LDAP backend for vpopmail. I used instructions from vpopmail.ldap file in source directory, special schema for vpopmail and some web pages from Internet. I integrated address book also. It worked quite fine.
I also tested AD backend, but I had a lot of problems with integrate both. My colleagues tested solution with automatic replication AD to LDAP (Fedora DS). Some tests were very optimistic. It should be quite possible to use vpopmail authentication via LDAP to Active Directory backend. cheers, Kristofer
