[toaster] cram-md5 issue

I seem to be running into cram md5 failure. Can anyone help me on this. 
I used to have people logging into the system fine. Then I updated 
vpopmail, and voila some people cant send mails anymore.

I tried to check whats the issue, it happens only with certain people. 
One of the clients is Eudora. So i sniffed the packet  and saw it was 
using cram-md5 and was failing.

Any suggestions?
