I'm a CentOS user, and I'm used to getting security patches for all the programs I installed using yum or up2date.
Now I've compiled so much stuff fropm source, with numerous patches, how do I stand as far as security updates are concerned? Are any security-related updates announced on this list? Or do I find them somewhere else? I must admit I would feel a bit lost if I had to apply a security update to (say) qmail by myself, because I would probably lose the necessary patches.
