I found it necessary to really kill freshclam, -HUP was not enough killall -TERM freshclam sleep 5 /usr/local/bin/freshclam -d Alternately run freshclam as a cron Also look in /usr/local/lib and check that symlink libclamav.so really points to the most recent library, if not clear them out and re-install HTH -- ----------------- Bob Hutchinson Midwales dot com -----------------
