Hello list, I have just build a new server based on AMD64 cpu and did a fresh install of the Suse 9.3 64 bit version. Installation went fine and I continued with the installation of the toaster. I ran into a problem when I got to the imap installation: -------------------------------------------------------- Edit /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/imapd Change 'IMAPDSTART=NO' to 'IMAPDSTART=YES' Edit /usr/lib/courier-imap/etc/imapd-ssl Change 'IMAPDSSLSTART=NO' to 'IMAPDSSLSTART=YES' -------------------------------------------------------- The directory (etc) in "/usr/lib/courier-imap/etc" does not exist !
I did not have time to experiment because I had to get my mailserver up and running as soon as possible, I installed the Suse 9.3 32 bit version and everything was ok with the toaster installation. Does anyone here have an idea why the 64 bit version is different and did anyone succeed in installing the toaster on this platform? I would like to take advantage of the 64 bit now that I have the hardware to support it so help on this issue is appreciated. Best regards Kim
