Hello,

I've been trying to solve this problem for the last two hours.

I have the toaster installed and a virtual domain set up.
I added a mailbox to the domain using qmailadmin, which adds the
mailbox without error. I can see the mailbox in several places when
looking at the server config using Webmin.

I can access the mailbox via POP using telnet 110 without error.

But whenever I try to send mail to that new mailbox, no matter what I
try, it's always being rejected with a "Sorry, no mailbox here by that
name. (#5.1.1)" from qmail-send on the receiving server. (BTW, I get
the same error if I try to send mail to a real non-existent email
address).

I'm not sure what else to try. A similar mailbox "postmaster" to the
same domain works perfectly. I've tried deleting and re-creating this
new mailbox several times several different ways, yet qmail still
rejects mail to the mailbox.

Are there any simple tests or places to check what could be causing this?

I'm not an expert, but I have installed and used the toaster several
times already, and have never seen this happen.

What are the permissions on the mailbox? I suspect it's owned by root...

Regards,

Bill
