I don't know if it's part of stock qmail, but with one of Bill's older toasters I have the following:
In the file /var/qmail/control/doublebounceto: doublebounce
In the file /var/qmail/alias/.qmail-doublebounce #
I have never included this patch. Perhaps you added it yourself later. However, I'm considering adding it, as my double bounces grow and grow and grow....
