Hi list,

when i install qmail in the box, i had skid the part to make the certs. but
now some emailservers will not delievery msg to my box. i tried to subscribe
a mailling list in sf.net and the confirmation email does not arrive, so i
email the admin and found out from him that my qmail is running into some
difficults. below he what he replied.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
T=remote_smtp defer (0): SMTP error from remote
mailer after
STARTTLS: host mail.ncmbox.net [203.116.85.127]:
454 TLS not
available: missing RSA private key (#4.3.0)

Either disable your mailserver's TLS capability,
or add TLS
certs. :)

In cases like this, will it be better to disable TLS or create the certs to
run STARTTLS fully?

1) if i create the certs now, what other things should i do or take note of?
will i need to recompile qmail?
2) to remove the TLS capbility, must i reinstall qmail?

My box is running Redhat 7.2 with openssl-0.9.6b-28. I read on some forums
or archive that TLS only run on openssl version 0.9c, if that true?

please help. thanks
