Not sure.. what's in the smtp logs? Also, you might try doing an recordio trace. Put "recordio " just before qmail-smtpd is called and restart qmail-smtpd.... this will record the entire smtp conversation, so that might help determine why they are not closing more quickly. Regards, Bill
