Where can I get Odeiavir, and does f-prot comes for linux? Or what scanner would you use on a linux environment?

Odeiavir is a program which is able to scan emails for viruses, Trojans and so on and should block those mails and warn the recipient and the sender. It needs a command line virus scanner like f-prot (free for personal use).

Subject: [toaster] Problem with Odeiavir and Vpopmail

Hi!

I’ve installed QMail with this howto 0.3. Now I wanted to integrate the great Odeiavir. So I created a .qmail file in the home directory for user [EMAIL PROTECTED] (/home/vpopmail/domains/yyy.de/xxx/). It contains:

| /usr/bin/odeiavir -r [EMAIL PROTECTED]
/home/vpopmail/domains/yyy.de/xxx/Maildir/

But every time I send a virus (EICAR Test virus) as an attachment to this mail account the warning mail is sent and the original virus infected message is sent also. The delivering process isn’t stopped. Very bad!

Any ideas for my problem?

Matthias.
