** [tickets:#184] tmux printing characters when opened**

**Status:** open

When I open tmux it prints ^@u% before the prompt then a u after. When the pane
starts vim, vim reports that I am at the last undo(as if I have pressed the u
key).
I have tried without a .zshrc and .tmux.conf and still get the behaviour. I am
using Archlinux without a GUI.
I have no idea where these characters are coming from or how to get rid of
them! Any ideas?
