This seems not to be true when using colors like #c0c0c0
(I tested with latest tmux-git with tmux-colour.patch and
tmux-panecolors.patch applied).

   $ tmux colourp -g
   active-pane fg=red,bg=colour250
   pane ""
   window ""

I did miss "colouring the active pane", I simply was to
lazy to ask. I like it!
