Hello,

Just a quickie.

Firstly, thank you for tmux. It's a great addition to my tool set. I
have been using it for a while but only recently got round to pimping it
up a bit.

I have a question about pane numbers which I first posted on Reddit but
couldn't get an answer. The question is why pane numbering is different
if you split panes within tmux against splitting them from a config
file/comman line.

The ordering of the splits are exactly the same, just the metod of
splitting is different. The first link is done within tmux with
keystrokes. The seond set of images are commands from the command line
(but the same for my config file)

Keystrokes from within tmux: https://imgur.com/a/ub1PF#0

Commands from CLI: https://imgur.com/a/foxrv#0

     tmux split-window -h
     tmux split-window -v -t 0:1.1
     tmux split-window -v -t 0:1.2
     tmux split-window -h -t 0:1.4
     tmux split-window -v -t 0:1.2
     tmux split-window -h -t 0:1.6

Any pointers you could give me to explain this would be great.

Again, thank you.
