I have the strange situation that a command does not work in tmux, but works in a plain terminal window. The command is "texdoc soul" which opens the "soul.pdf" in the default PDF viewer. Except that it does not work in tmux. In tmux it replies with -
╭──── │Failed to get bus connection: Could not connect: Connection refused ╰──── Yet if I use that same command in a terminal window it works! So why doesn't it work in tmux, but does in a straight terminal?
