I have recently discovered tmux and it is absolutely brilliant!
I am currently playing with the "pipe-pane" command and was wondering if it
was possible to specify the name of the file when you turn on logging?
I am not sure if this is possible, but I wanted to be able to toggle pane
logging to a user specified file.
e.g.
User presses "C-b + L" and it prompts you to specify a file.
User generates some output which is written to the file.
User presses "C-b + L" and logging is disabled.
I have played with the following option:
bind-key l pipe-pane -o "cat >> ~/#W-tmux.log"
But the file is always the same, can I ask the user for a file - like it
does for rename window?
Alternatively, what options do I have for the "command" - can I pipe it to
a Perl script which allows me to strip out ANSI sequences?
