I'm not seeing a change from that option. Here's what I did: * added option to ~/.tmux.conf * killed all sessions * created new session in large terminal window * attached to same session from small terminal window on different monitor * saw that the large window got filled with periods on right and bottom sides so it only used same number of rows and columns as small window -- R.
