Ok, that is workable, it'd still be nice though to package it up with a bow, so that users can select the pane they wish to swap with with a drop down menu, and have this value somehow stored for further calls to swap pane.. do you allow variables here, eg? :set other_pane=2 swap-pane -s:-$other_pane >> For more advanced use, my suggestion was to have another keybinding, >> for find-pane, akin to what find-window does.
