I was inprecise in wording, tmux server doesn't crash, I said it 'crashed'.

I compiled tmux with '--enable-debug' and libevent 2.0.20, run it under
gdb, press `Esc' and saw `[lost server]'
gdb> bt
No stack.

The next `run' under gdb opens usual session. After I pressed `Esc' I saw
'lost server', the next `run list' returns nothing, and `set args; run
list-windows' gives `failed to connect to server'.

I'm not sure if other keys are affected I found `Esc' almost
'accidentally' while working in vim.
