I am having a problem renicing processes run under tmux on Linux.

tmux version 1.6 on Debian GNU/Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64.

My user is configured via pam_limits/limits.conf to be able to raise the
priority/lower nice on processes. This works fine, unless I start the
process under tmux, in which case it does not.

Renicing using root works as-expected.

I have no clue what is going on. I'm a clueless noob.

To duplicate, make sure your PAM config file has pam_limits in it, and
then add something like "username - nice
-10" to /etc/security/limits.conf"

I am using sudo here, but I don't think that is a factor since I can
duplicate while not using sudo.
