Micah, you saved my day (again)! "command-mode" has nothing to do with a mythical tmux command-mode, instead the specific vi command-mode is meant (seen the tmux way from within the vi-edit table). On a related note, someone (Micah, again?) posted manual page related patches that were rejected as "too verbose". Maybe they were, I would have to see them in context, but there are a few places where a few words could be dropped. The following items (in the FAQ?) would have helped me: - Tmux' vi-edit command- versus normal-mode. - "bind-key -c -t <table>" doesn't allow binding all tmux commands within <table>. I'll propably come up with a few more, but thanks big-time for now! clemens ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com _______________________________________________ tmux-users mailing list tmux-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/tmux-users
