Hi TLS Team,

Do you have any update that TLS 1.2 is getting expired or any EOL announcement
we have? I see document RFC 5246 (Snap attached) where you mention obsoleted by
RFC 8446?

I need update that according to your RFC draft TLS 1.2
(draft-rsalz-tls-tls12-frozen) is frozen (Already clarify Rich Salz in appended
email). But unfortunately, I didn't see any documentation to clarify that how
long we can use TLS 1.2, like you mention for Deprecating TLS 1.0 and 1.1 ?
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/rfc8996/

Appreciate if you share any plan or decision had been taken for TLS 1.2 is
Deprecating in near future by IETF?

Will appreciate your support on this.

Regards,
Kamran

The document is currently a draft. It is not an official IETF publication. It
probably makes sense to discuss drafts in the appropriate working group, in
this case tls@ietf.org<mailto:tls@ietf.org>

Section 5 talks about how to use TLS 1.2 safely.

Hi Team,

I need update that according to you RFC draft TLS 1.2 is frozen. But
unfortunately, I didn't see any documentation to clarify that how long we use
can TLS 1.2 ? and what part of TLS 1.2 cannot be used.

Will appreciate your support on this.

Regards,
Kamran
