My suggestion was to have draft-ietf-tls-oldversions-deprecate update the webrtc draft. I did not think that was controversial. My understanding was that IETF with this BCP had forbidden negotiation of DTLS 1.0 without exceptions. I thought the webrtc draft had simply been forgotten and that I had made a “good catch” as Kathleen expressed it. I can live with the BCP not updating draft-ietf-tls-oldversions-deprecate if that delays publishing, but otherwise I see no reasons why WebRTC should get special treatment.
