Hi, Probably nobody is playing mica2dot any more. I just try my luck here. I got a few mica2dot motes. The test I do is simple: make one as txmitter (Oscilloscope), the other receiver (basestation). If I set the CC1K_DEF_FREQ above 900MHz, those two motes can communicate. They totally cannot if CC1K_DEF_FREQ is set below 860MHz. So I use scope to capture the working FREQ of the txmitter; then I found FREQ drifting below 900MHz, the lower the bigger drift. CC1K chip can operate at 300, 400, 800 and 900 MHz FREQ. From CC1K data sheet, I know different FREQ needs different external hardware components support. But I cannot see any different between 800 and 900. Not sure if the desingers of mica2 and mica2dot are still watching this list. If so, please shed some light. Thx.
