Call for Posters and Demos
Conference: The 8th IEEE International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and 
Sensor Networks (IEEE MSN 2012)
Date: 14-16 Dec. 2012
Location: Chengdu, China

The 8th International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks 
(MSN'12) solicit technical demonstrations/posters showing innovative and 
original research in the field of mobile ad hoc, mesh and sensor 
networks. MSN 2012 will include poster/demonstration sessions that shall 
provide a forum to present and discuss: works in progress, industry 
demonstrations of new applications and techniques, practical 
implementations, industrial and commercial developments, research 
testbeds and demonstrations, recent research/implementation results, 
upcoming research challenges, future directions, and novel approaches in 
the following topics of interest (but not limited to):
• Multi-hop Wireless Networks and Wireless Mesh Networks
• Sensor and Actuator Networks
• Vehicle Ad Hoc Networks
• Mobile Social Network
• Delay Tolerant Networks and Opportunistic Networking
• Cyber-Physical Systems
• Internet of Things (Protocols, Architectures & Novel Applications)
• System Modeling and Performance Analysis
• Routing and Network Protocols
• Data Transport and Management in Mobile Networks
• Resource Management and Wireless QoS Provisioning
• Security and Privacy
• Cross Layer Design and Optimization
• Novel applications and Architectures

whether your demo falls within the scope of the conference.

DEMO/POSTER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Submissions should be a three-page abstract/proposal in PDF format 
adhering to MSN 2012’s submission instructions at 
http://conference.uestc.edu.cn/msn12/. The title of a poster submission 
should begin with the key word “Poster” followed by a colon (e.g. a 
poster submission’s title may be “Poster: Study of The Vulnerability of 
Cyber-Physical Systems”). The title of a demonstration submission should 
begin with the key word “Demo” followed by a colon. Demonstration 
submissions should include the space requirements and/or any other 
equipment-specific requirements.

Demo/Poster submissions should describe the main contributions of the 
poster/demo and the merits of the proposed ideas. If available, 
preliminary results can also be included. Submissions will be evaluated 
mainly based on their potential to stimulate interesting discussions, 
exchange of ideas and promote collaborations.
