Hi Jeremy, > Rather than having a single URL containing the app that you have to visit > and then select your HTML file, I'd like to build the functionality into a > plugin. >
Haven't exactly figured out how the current version works... it seems to be reading a tw, convert it to utf8, slicing its contents, thereby loading it ...and then leveraging dropbox.js bits so as to be able to presist the changes some way. As a plugin, would it be a matter of doing the authentication handshake, specifying a filepath and then confirming to (over-)write? I also think it might be safer if the app were restricted to an > App/TiddlyWiki folder in the users Dropbox. > <javascript:> > Looking at how it currently works, I don't see anything unsafe about how it works. So, to me, being able to use any folder path is a good thing and being limited to a TiddlyWiki folder a perhaps undesirable restriction.
