Good thinking Charlie; in fact that doesn't work either - in TiddlyDesktop, 
where i do all my tiddly-diddling, as a rule. 
It does however work fine when i load this instance into Chrome browser. 
Is this a bug in TiddlyDesktop, i wonder?
