Ahh OK got it, thanks for clarifying. Not sure if the search option is 
necessary, if I can figure out a way to edit the URL of the shortcut then 
the permalink syntax should be enough.

Tiddloid allows you to create a shortcut to a specific wiki, but not to a 
specific tiddler as far as I can tell. 

I found an app called Shortcut Maker

that allows you to make custom shortcuts, and creating a shortcut to 
Tiddloid lets you edit things like "Action" (android.intent.action.MAIN), 
"Class Name" (top.donmor.tiddloid.SplashActivity) etc. I have no idea what 
any of that means, but maybe it is possible to use it to create a shortcut 
that opens a custom file path with Tiddloid. Anyone reading this with 
Android knowledge who can comment on this?
