One of the minor annoyances of using TiddlyWiki is the proliferation of backup files that results from any editing activity. Since each backup is a full copy of the wiki, backup folders can quickly become very large, requiring a pruning strategy.
Instead of doing this, it seems like there should be a much more efficient option whereby only the diff between the current version and the previous version is saved, and a process for rolling back diffs if there is a need to access an older version. Has anyone implemented a scheme like this? I'm guessing that something like this effect can be achieved using git, but has anyone managed to do this in an automated way, without requiring a manual commit for each save? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
