Welcome! "... how to add fields to tiddlers... " When you edit a tiddler, the normal "ViewTemplate" display is replaced by the "EditTemplate" display, which shows a set of input controls. At the bottom, you will see a row that starts with the label, "Add a new field", like this: Add a new field: add To create a new field, enter the field name into the first input control (use only lower case letters, numbers, dash, or underscore, with NO SPACES). Alternatively, you can select the name of a field that already exists on another tiddler by pressing the down-arrow button next to the field name control. Then, enter the desired field value in the larger input control to the right of the down-arrow. Lastly, press "add" to actually add the field to the tiddler. Fields that have been added will appear in a list above the field input controls. Once added, you can change the value of an existing field by directly editing the text in the input control next to that fieldname. You can delete any field you've added by pressing the "trashcan" button next to that field. Hope this helps... enjoy, -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools.com: "Small Tools for Big Ideas!"
