Their pentagonal star was their sacred emblem. The pentagram and pentagon, like all patterns, are defined by their limits. Incorporated in the harmonious patterns of fruits and flowers, they exemplify an epigram attributed to Phythagoras, that limit gives form to the limitless. This is the power of limits.
