anyone check this out? <<Geoff Scott, Mike Rivard, Andrew Barr, Sam Kininger, Mister Rourke Collaborate Several musicians collaborated last night at Geoff Scott�s weekly gig at Matt Murphy�s in Brookline, MA. The principle line-up featured guitarist Scott (Miracle Orchestra), bassist Mike Rivard (Club d�Elf), Andrew Barr (The Slip), Brahim Fribgane (Club d�Elf) and DJ Mister Rourke. Special guests included alto saxophonists Sam Kininger (Soulive, Lettuce), James Merenda and Matt Steckler (Dead Cat Bounce). The night consisted of Scott�s original instrumental material, some of which is represented on his solo album, Table 8. The Tuesday night residency features Scott along with a rotating cast of musicians each week. �This is a weekly celebration for the casual and exploratory mind,� says Geoff.
Next Tuesday�s show will feature Scott, Fribgane, bassist Timo Shanko (Fully Celebrated Orchestra), guitarist Brad Barr (The Slip) and drummer Andrew Barr (The Slip). Other special guests are expected.
