Hi Darcy, I made quite a few improvements in the keyboard handling code.
The bug 57850 is extremely tricky, because fixes for an English keyboard may fail on a French one (for instance). I prefer to postpone this issue to after the release of TeXmacs 2.1 and check first whether my new corrections already improve the situation (and did not create any new bugs).
