Sure. To make myself clear I would definitely prefer a special policy for TeX Live to allow just 2 packages to be imported to have full support for new TeX Live in Fedora. The plan b) for importing several dozens of font packages to workaround the policy is heavily suboptimal in many ways IMNSHO.
