Hi, With a fresh installation of Texlive 2011 on F16 Beta I have this error:
! Font T1/pnc/m/n/12=pncr8t at 12.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found when there is in preamble: \usepackage(newcent) or palatino, but -for example- no error with utopia or with standard font. I make some tests with updmap without results.
