Hi. I'm new in this list, so if this topic has been discussed before, please point me to the thread, since there's now search mechanism for the archives.
I had some problems with the last update of TeXLive 2010 for fedora 15. After installing the "troubleless" packages individually, the following error messages remained: ERROR: Error in yum Transaction : [u'Errors were encountered while downloading packages.', 'texlive-release-2010-5.20110908_r23872.fc14.noarch: failure: texlive-release.noarch.rpm from texlive: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.'] ERROR: Error in yum Transaction : [u'ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve:', 'libpoppler.so.7()(64bit) is needed by texlive-xetex- bin-2010-5.20110908_r23872.svn22981.fc14.x86_64', 'libpoppler.so.7()(64bit) is needed by texlive-luatex-bin-2010-5.20110908_r23872.svn22981.fc14.x86_64', 'libpoppler.so.7()(64bit) is needed by texlive-pdftex-bin-2010-5.20110908_r23872.svn23498.fc14.x86_64', u'Please report this error at http://yum.baseurl.org/report'] Most of the packages require an older version of poppler (with libpoppler.so.7), whereas F15 uses (libpoppler.so.13 in poppler-0.16.7-1.fc15.x86_64). What could be done here? I don't want to resort to "rpm --nodeps"... -- Rudi Gaelzer Department of Physics Institute of Physics and Mathematics Federal University of Pelotas BRAZIL Registered linux user # 153741
